How it Works
Split any bill in seconds — no account, no app, no fuss.
Enter the bill total
Type the full amount and select the currency the bill was charged in — this is your base currency.
Choose a split method
Pick how the bill gets divided:
- ⚖️Equal — everyone pays the same share.

Income — each person pays a share proportional to their income. The more you earn relative to the group, the more you contribute.
How it's calculated
Your share = (your income ÷ total group income) × bill total
Example — $120 bill, 3 people:
Alex earns $3,000 → 3,000 ÷ 7,000 = 43% → pays $51.43
Sam earns $2,000 → 2,000 ÷ 7,000 = 29% → pays $34.29
Ravi earns $2,000 → 2,000 ÷ 7,000 = 29% → pays $34.29
The actual currency units you enter don't matter — only the ratios between incomes do. You can enter monthly, annual, or relative numbers as long as everyone uses the same unit.

Add everyone in the group
Tap + Add Person for each person. Give them a name and select the currency they want to pay in — FairSplit converts automatically using live exchange rates.
Optionally add tip & tax
Open Tip & Tax Settings to add a tip or tax — either as a percentage or a fixed amount. Results update instantly.
Share the results
Two ways to share:
- 🔗 Copy Shareable Link — sends a URL to your group chat. Anyone who opens it sees the full breakdown instantly, no app needed.
- 📷 QR Code — tap QR Code and hold up your screen. Everyone at the table scans it with their camera and sees exactly what they owe in their own currency.
